Nursery

Please can someone tell me if I’m over reacting or not! My little one is not a huge fan of nursery and nor am I tbh. Every time I drop him he cries and the room always feels rather chaotic with a number of babies and toddlers crying on the floor. The ladies working there all seem nice and busy doing things but it j...

Spitting food

Any one else having this issue? Most foods she’s putting in her mouth she’s just pushing it back out again with her tongue including food she would normally like! Isnt really wanting to try anything different at the moment, is this all just an age phase thing? She was a way better eater a few months ago!

Lunch ideas for 3 yo

My toddler goes to preschool and we’re struggling to come up with lunch options for him. Most days we pack a sandwich of some sort/nuggets, a veggie pouch, some fresh fruit and some yogurt but would love ideas on what else I can include. He won’t eat fresh veggies on his own (we have to supervise for him to finish a...

Breakfast

I'm running out of ideas for my 7 month old for breakfast. She seems to have gone off everything we give her. She's been having purees and porridge since she was 4 months and she's bored of everything, we've tried omelette and toast but she isn't interested after a few bites. Any advice would be much appreciated TIA

In laws

Hi all, I love my in-laws and they are so generous and cannot do enough for me and my husband and our baby, but how on earth do I go about telling them to stop buying her toys. It’s constant. Every week she’s with them she’s got something new! She will never know the value of anything and Christmas is just around t...

Thoughts?

Would anyone be interested in watching real life videos of a first time mum? I’ve put a couple videos out but wondering whether it’s just cringey 😬

Daddy’s boy 😢

Baby (6 months) doesn’t seem to enjoy my company…. I know, I’m always there and it’s not constant fun, I cut his nails, wash his face, get him dressed, do the housework around him while he plays. But I do take lots of time to really engage with him and play silly games, but he just looks away bored, or gives me a ha...

Relationship on the rocks

We have not had an easy ride with parenthood (first baby) and this has put a lot of strain on our relationship. We've been together for 12 years and still very much love each other but we are really struggling. We both want to make it work but things are so bad now we don't know if we can even come back from it. ...

Issues at playgroup

Today at playgroup my little boy was playing with a bunch of plastic shapes. He likes collecting things right now and putting things into piles of the same category, so he was running around collecting all the plastic shapes. But there was probably about 30 scattered around in total and he was only playing with 6 at...

Wanting to advance from pouches

Hello! My LO was born last day of April so we are sometimes a bit behind some on here age and progress wise. Over the last couple of weeks he has taken like a duck to water with weening and now has 3 meals a day - each time a food pouch and a yoghurt pouch. These are the Ella’s kitchen things from Aldi/Asda. However...

Weaning

Did anyone just use the shop pouches/ jars for weaning. I’m a first time mum and not a very good cook. Fo they taste the same as home made? I don’t want no one to judge me.
