Opinions—What Which One Would You Choose??

So, I’m going through my breast pump options. With my daughter, I had the Spectra 2 Plus. I just disliked having to be seated at all times. I still have it, but will be purchasing new parts of course before my twins arrive. I know I want a wearable pump, that way I can stay on the go and continue duties while pump...

Colostrum

Hi, just wondering for those collecting colostrum, is it coming out of both breasts equally? I seem to be able to fill a 1ml syringe but I end up doing it about 0.2ml left breast, 0.8ml right breast because it just flows so much faster! Is anyone else having this?

Pumping

I’m pumping about once a day just really to keep supply up. I’m getting about 60-70ml off total and this is after about 10 mins. Is that a good amount or should I pump for longer? Any pumping tips appreciated!

Water from a bottle

My 6 month old has recently started the weaning journey which is going great! However, he will not take water from a bottle He is exclusively breastfed - I have tried water in a MAM milk bottle and a few different sippy cups. I am not replacing any feeds with food or water, it’s mainly to wash down once he’s eaten...

Hey! Just a quick one to see who’s still breastfeeding and how much? I keep getting a lot of comments about me still breastfeeding my 18month old even though it’s just morning nap and night, and that she should be weaned off it by now and in laws making comments, she still very much uses it as her comfort and if she...

Exclusive pumping

Is this sustainable? I'm unable to breastfeed due to tongue tie that's not able to be cut as it's posterior and they said it's not worth it as she takes a bottle. I wanted to exclusive breastfeed but as that's not possible I still want her to have breast milk but my infant feeding specialist has said this isn't sust...

7 weeks milk intake dropped??

🍼Having breast milk from bottle unless we go out, then she will have formula. 🍼She was having between 120ml - 160ml depends on the feed/moment of the day. Demanding every 2,5h - 3h during the day. 🍼Since yesterday, she falls asleep during feeds, and she’s having only 100ml - 110ml. She might cry for food every 3h…

Baby refusing breast

I recently went back to work full time and have been giving my 8 month old baby the bottle while he’s at daycare and he’s started refusing the breast at nighttime. Sometimes he latches for a few seconds and then pulls off or he just bites my nipple or plays with it. Can I get him interested in it again?

Oversupply and desperate

Hi, I naturally have an oversupply and even though I have dropped my pumping sections to every 5 hrs now, milk production hasn’t dropped, it seems to have increased. People tell me not to pump til’ empty but if I don’t I will have to deal w/ engorgement and clogged ducks. How did you wean down if you had an oversupply?
