Hi girls x I just wanted to ask if your contractions started first or your water broke and then the contractions started. I know it can be different for everyone but just wanted to read some experiences x
Does anyone have any experience on being induced to attempt a VBAC? Looking for both positive and negative stories 💗
Anyone being induced at 36 weeks?!
Hi, if anyone has give birth in the ulster hospital do you know what time partners are allowed in at and what time they can stay to and what time other general visiting hours are?
I have my elective c-section on Wednesday and recently found out that you’re not meant to wear make up for the operation. I understand the reason is to monitor your complexion to check if anything is going wrong. I am not one who wears make up to be vain or to look flawless, but more to cover up rosacea which make...
Hi all, if you harvested colostrum in pregnancy and had a planned C section, how much colostrum would you recommend to bring to the hospital? I have a bag full of 1ml syringes in the freezer and im not sure how many to take with me?
Hey mamas! I just had my first baby via c section back in September, & my lower belly/pouch still feels very numb. Anyone else had the same thing happen? Or is it normal for all c sections?
Hello! I’m getting everything I need to pack my hospital bag. There’s so many things to consider but what would you recommend as I’m having an elective C-section and want to ensure I got all the right things to hand x I’m also having twins if this helps in anyway
Anyone else’s C section wound became infected and how are you treating it? How’s the healing process? I’ve been given a course of antibiotics and am bathing it in warm water but it’s not showing any signs of improvement.
This little one made quite the dramatic and early entrance at 34 + 3. So glad to finally be out of neonatal and home.
Waters broke yesterday at 3pm spontaneously, honestly just like the movies! No contractions have begun yet and the hospital have indicated they will want to review me at the 24 mark, I think I’ll decline induction until we get to the 48hr mark. Just have to hope the contractions begin soon! Need to get oxytocin flo...
Hello, I've come on my period 3 weeks after having my little girl, everywhere online is saying it isn't normal and it's normally after 6 weeks. Anyone else come on this early or is it something I should be worried about?
Well, this momma is back at the hospital. Blood pressure is extremely high. 158/90 143/95 153/98 159/94 Contractions, I had a 6 MINUTE one omg did that hurt 😭 Mild swelling, mild headache Will see how this goes today 😭
I’m 39+5 today and have extreme pelvic girdle pain. I’ve got my second sweep tomorrow but am hoping to get induced if it doesn’t work. Has anyone else been induced at 40 weeks for PGP?
Four months post emergency c section and have been unwell/ in pain since Friday night. Partner pointed out my symptoms line up with an appendicitis, ringing 111 in the morning if still in pain, but has anyone had the surgery for it so close to birth? Definitely will have some PTSD to deal with if it’s what I have.
I'm 38 weeks today and I had my membrane sweep yesterday. I just used the primrose oil and lost my mucus plug which had some blood tinged on it. How long after did labor start ? I was also 4cm dilated and 70 percent effaced.
So my baby girl is only 3.5 months old but I’ve had baby fever pretty much since she turn a month old. Obviously it’s still too early to purposely get pregnant again. When I looked it up though the recommendation is 18 months postpartum. That seems like such a long time. Any thoughts on length of time between pregna...
I’m 4 days after a c section and noticed if I’m sat on the edge of the bed or kind off crunched over I get a really bad burning/stinging pain just above my wound. Has anyone else had this? It’s so painful and I can’t get relief unless I’m laid down
I’ve had 2 children in the last two and a bit years (22/23) both via c section and I’ve just found out I’m pregnant again we have tried to be so careful with the ‘pull out’ method and this has been an utter surprise to me I’m so scared who has had c sections this close together
